SWIMMING WEEK
Please make sure that your child brings bathers, a towel, and a plastic bag to put wet things in at the end of the lessons. The timetable is attached below. It is really important everyone is on time at school next week so they can make their swimming times. If children are not at school in time for their pick-up time they will need to spend the time in another year-level classroom.
PARENTS AND CARERS GROUP EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
We are looking for some enthusiastic parents and carers who would love to be part of a group to help get some exciting projects within our school off the ground. If you have some time, some energy, and a wish to help our great school to be even greater, please fill in our expression of interest form and we will be in touch or leave your details with Jo at the office. Community participation really supports schools to get lots of things done that they couldn't otherwise, so please consider volunteering your time.
DRAMA VICTORIA BLENDED LEARNING
This term our grades 3-6 have been participating in weekly drama sessions. These sessions are supported by the Department of Education and Drama Victoria. The program supports teachers to be able to run drama in their classrooms by one week the class views an online lesson facilitated by a trained drama teacher and then the next week, teachers run a lesson in their class. The hope is that while students are having a great time engaging in drama, their teachers are engaging in professional learning so that they build their ability city to teach drama on going. Today we participated in an 'in-person' session with a teaching artist from Drama Victoria. Everyone really enjoyed the session.
We have one more term of this wonderful program.
