TERM 2

It has been an eventful and fulfilling period, filled with countless achievements, learning experiences, and memorable moments. As we say goodbye to this term, let us take a moment to reflect on our journey together and celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of our students.

Our students have truly worked so hard in their learning this term and all of them have made progress in something- in their reading, writing, mathematics, or their swimming!

This term, we saw our students embark on exciting adventures beyond the classroom walls. Excursions, camps, and performances have enriched their learning experiences and sparked their curiosity. Whether it was the F-2 Zoo excursion, the F1s visit to the historical society or the 5-6 girls' surfing camp, our students embraced the opportunity to explore new horizons and broaden their perspectives. These experiences have undoubtedly left a lasting impact on their personal growth and development.

To our exceptional teachers and ES, we extend our heartfelt appreciation. Your unwavering commitment to our students' growth and success has been instrumental in creating a nurturing and inspiring learning environment. Thank you for your continuous support, collaboration, and belief in the potential of every child.

We encourage our students to make the most of their well-deserved break, enjoying the time with family and friends, exploring their interests, and recharging their spirits. Let us return for the next term with renewed energy, ready to embrace new challenges, and most importantly have some great FUN!

GOODBYE TO MASON ARGUS

We have some news to share that may bring mixed emotions. One of our teachers, Mason , will be leaving our school community. While it's tough to say goodbye, we want to take this opportunity to celebrate the incredible impact they've had on our journey at Gowrie St.

Mason has been an absolute superhero in our classrooms. He's poured his heart and soul into his teaching, going above and beyond to ensure that every student receives a quality education. His dedication, compassion, and belief in our students' potential have helped them be the best learners they can be.

As we say goodbye to Mason, we express our heartfelt gratitude. He has made an indelible mark on our Gowrie St family, and his impact will be felt for years to come.

Mason, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being an incredible teacher and mentor. You've shown us that our circumstances don't define us and that we can rise above any obstacle with determination and the support of caring individuals like yourself.

Though saying goodbye is never easy, we wish Mason all the best on his next adventure, knowing that he's left a lasting legacy at Gowrie St.

We have asked our wonderful 3/4 teacher Mr Sam Sharpe to take over teaching Mason's class as we are yet to recruit a new teacher. Sam's class will be looked after by Ms Michelle and by Mr McCormick.
