House Athletics Sports Day

Today, our school celebrated an incredible day of fun and community spirit at the annual House Athletics Sports Day. The sun was shining as students from all year levels gathered on the oval, proudly dressed in their house colours and ready to give their best in a range of athletic events.

From sprints and relays to long jump and shot put, every child showed amazing effort and sportsmanship. The cheers from classmates, teachers, and families created an exciting atmosphere, making the day even more special for our young athletes.

A highlight of the day was the lunch, where families, students, and staff came together for a well-deserved break. It was wonderful to see so many families come along to support the students and share in the day’s excitement.

Thank you to Mr McCormick for all his work making the day happen and to our ASHE volunteers who helped make the event a great success. Congratulations to all our participants for their hard work and enthusiasm, and a big shout-out to Red - Mawamatj our winning house! We look forward to another fantastic sports day next year.

SHORDI CREEK

Today, our talented students took part in a wonderful initiative 'Busking for Change' singing 'Shordi Creek' during assembly. The children sang their hearts out, showcasing their musical talents.

Although the event was a great success in spirit, we didn’t quite reach our fundraising goal. We are asking our school community to continue supporting this important cause. Your generous contributions can still make a difference and help us get closer to the target. You can give a gold coin donation until the end of next week. If you haven’t had a chance to donate yet, it’s not too late! Every little bit helps, and we are grateful for the ongoing support of our amazing families and friends.

Let’s make sure this event has a lasting impact! Thank you to everyone who has already contributed and to our incredible student performers for their hard work and passion.
